Merriam-webster.com defines pressure as “the burden of physical or mental distress”. There are good and bad types of pressure in most circumstances. One main pressure teenagers deal with is the pressure from parents to grow up living a great life and to not make mistakes. Being a teenager is about making mistakes and learning from them. Yes, parents pressure us, but, if done for the right reasons, it is for our benefit because they are trying to help us to make the right decisions. Have faith in your parent’s reasonings because they have gone through similar situations, even if they have not said so themselves.
