Dare to Care

I am a 17 year old Girl Scout in Troop 2032. My troop and I are working on our Gold Award Projects and mine consists of a website and multiple seminars dealing with self confidence and suicide prevention. Suicide is an overwhelming and heartbreaking topic, pertaining to many individuals around the world, usually resulting in a lack of self confidence. I am making this website to connect my personal experiences with these topics and inform others of the role self confidence plays in everyone's' life. I am also filming videos to discuss other factors leading to suicide and ways to build your own self confidence.

As well as being a Girl Scout, I am also on the swim team at my high school and work with children at a daycare. Some of my other hobbies include photography and drawing. Friends, family, and faith are three of the most important things in my life and I am very thankful to have the opportunity to share my thoughts and experiences on this website with all who come across it.
