Merriam-webster.com defines social media as “forms of electronic communication through which users create online communities to share information, ideas, personal messages, and other content”. While social media is a fun and engaging form of communication, there are many negatives associated with it. The main thing with social media and online communication is knowing when you are in or will be in a bad situation and removing yourself when the time is appropriate. Learning how to share the right things about yourself online can be tricky, but everything you do might result in consequences, so it is important to be careful.
